Wishkah Fire Department was established in 1965, as a Rural Volunteer fire department on the Olympic Peninsula, located in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains.

The Fire Department provides fire and medical services to the community members of Grays Harbor Fire District #10, a 70 Square mile area north of Aberdeen and Hoquaim, WA.

There are 20 members on the department ranging from Firefighter to Emergency Medical Technicians. The fire district has three stations that members respond to. We are dispatched by Grays Harbor Communications, a county wide E-911 dispatch center.

In addition to Fire protection, the fire department provides Basic Life Support and contracts with Aberdeen and Hoquiam Fire Departments for Advanced Life Support services. The Fire District maintains Mutual aid agreements with several other fires districts to assist with large structure fires or mass casualty incidents.
